Update your Apple devices

High priority

TSC is recommending every faculty, staff, and student immediately update their Apple devices to the latest version in order to address a security flaw that can result in an attacker taking control of an affected device. More information can be found by visiting: https://us-cert.cisa.gov/ncas/current-activity/2021/09/13/apple-releases-security-updates-address-cve-2021-30858-and-cve

Faculty and Staff managed iPads and Macs will receive a notification to update, unmanaged devices will need to update manually.

If you are unsure about updating or have any questions or concerns, please contact the TSC by calling 413-748-4872.
