Concerns about the privacy and safety of Zoom meetings

Recent concerns about the privacy and safety of Zoom meetings have educators and businesses sharing with their employees and teachers important settings that must be enabled to provide secure meetings with your colleagues and students. To ensure that your meeting with your students via Zoom is not going to be attended by unwanted guests, there are three settings you need to be aware of when creating Zoom meetings.

Go to Springfield.zoom.us, and click Sign In. On the left menu, click Settings. On the horizontal navigation bar, click Meetings

1.  Select Schedule Meeting, and Turn on all four settings to require a password to enter the meeting.

2. Next, scroll to In Meeting (Advanced) Settings and turn on the Waiting Room, so you can control and admit attendees into your Zoom meeting.

3.   To further protect your privacy and to know who is actually in your meeting, turn on the following two settings in the advanced meeting settings.
