Introducing the ITS Project Request Program

The Information and Technology Services department (ITS) collaborates with other college departments on a variety of technology related projects. This new system will better enable us to manage the projects and priorities faced by college faculty and staff members.

Should I submit an ITS Project Request or a Help Ticket?
If your issue is related to an error message that is appearing, WiFi/Internet access, or anything to do with a PC, printer, or other hardware component, then please click here to Submit a Help Ticket to the TSC.

ITS Projects are typically those that require ITS involvement to implement custom-programmed or vendor-written software components, in support of department or campus-wide initiatives.

ITS Project Requests are reviewed by ITS and department managers in order to prioritize the ITS project queue.

Voicemail access off campus

Voicemail access off-campus for department extension and personal extension.

1. Call your full phone number (ex. 413-748-3000)

 

2. After the voicemail prompt starts press *7

 

3. You will hear "Welcome to the Avaya voice system for help press *4", then it will prompt you for an extension and the # key. (ex. 3000#)

 

4. You will be asked for your password¹, enter it then press the # key (ex. 1312#).  

 

5. Press 2 to listen to your voice messages

 

6. Follow the prompts to skip, save, transfer, an delete voice messages².

 

¹If you have not set up your voicemail password: when asked for a password, press #, and the system will ask you to enter a new password, enter that password then a second time to confirm. Note: Passwords can be 4 to 8 digits long and cannot be 1111, 1234, or your extension number.

 

²If you listen, save, or delete voice messages, it will reflect on your phone's visual voicemail alerts and counts.

Changes in Adobe Creative Cloud Shared Device License

Beginning this September, all lab and classroom machines on campus have the new Adobe Shared Device License installed on them.  This change will require you to log in with your Springfield College PrideNET username and password in order to use Adobe products. 

 

1. When you first launch an Adobe App, you will be prompted with a sign in screen:

2. Enter your Springfield College email address using @springfieldcollege.edu as the domain name e.g. jdoe@springfieldcollege.edu 

3. As soon as you press enter or tab to the password screen, you will be redirected to our single sign on screen – you will see a screen that tells you that you are being redirected.

 

4. Enter your PrideNET username and password.  Note: you will NOT enter the @springfieldcollege.edu at this login screen.

Once complete, you will be returned to the Adobe app you launched, and you are ready to go!

 

Always remember to restart a lab or classroom computer when you are done working on it, this will clear out any apps or websites you are logged into.
