It's not like big brands are losing customers like me, anyway. I wouldn't care if they were knockoffs or good quality originals from a small or new unknown brand. Comfort is top priority, then style (specifically colours colours colours - I fucking love colourful clothing, but shoes in multicoloured styles tend to be quite expensive - $100+). If I like 2 similar pairs that are both comfy, I don't care if one pair is LE Nike and the other brand is completely unknown. I'll buy the cheaper pair.
People who really, truly care about brands, and would love to spend $500+ on some collectable LE shoes, are more likely than not teens or young adults without that kind of money to spend, anyway. Adults with real jobs and any amount of maturity, whatsoever, aren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a pair of shoes, (unless they're reselling). It's just ridiculous.
So no, big brands aren't losing tons of money to knockoff manufacturers. In fact, those brands make most of their money off of cheaper pairs sold in brick & mortars that they mass produce. However, more choice to consumers is always a better thing, as it brings in healthy competition and price wars. /1881-Jordan-Bordeaux-For-Sale-Bordeaux-7-For-Sale-Comfortable-Air-Jordan-VII-7-Bordeaux-Women.html rob kazinsky Imitating a trend is not the same as copying a product design. When these criminals reproduce replica's , they are taking the exact product design and undermining the research and development that went into developing the product in the first place. There's a reason why patent laws exist , and so do property laws. If you could just steal a design from a company, it would remove the entire profit incentive to make better products and services. Why would I invest millions of dollars into a product if somebody could just steal the design and undercut me as soon as I release it? I wouldn't. The laws exist because it's the only thing that protects growth. Don't be a fool. Nobody would invest in research or development if somebody could just steal your product design as soon as you released it. All of the amazing products and services you enjoy exist because there's such a thing as property rights and patent law. China doesn't have to worry about American laws. Because their dictatorship doesn't incentivize growth in the same way we do, they often times make replica versions of our products. If they were in America they would be in prison.
